Did you notice that your heater is not as good as working once?
You can improve the thermal efficiency of your home by giving the radiator \"water\" twice a year and start saving money.
The radiator bleed will clean and purify the air that enters your wireless sensor coil.
Since the water in the radiator is heated and cooled, a lot of bubbles can be generated.
When you start to notice the performance degradation of the radiator, this may indicate that these bubbles are creating trouble.
If the top of your radiator is cold and the bottom is hot, it may mean it needs to bleed.
If the radiator is almost full of air, the temperature difference between the top and bottom of the radiator will not be felt, but in these extreme cases the whole radiator will become better.
This will be compared to other central heating systems where other radiators will be touched.
The treatment of radiator bleeding is relatively simple and safe.
All radiators come with a gadget called the bleed key.
There will also be a stand-out near the top of the radiator, called the vent valve on one side.
You need to open this valve a little bit to allow the air to escape from the top of the radiator while not allowing the water to flow out.
If you plan to drain the radiator in a sealed central heating system, you need to reduce the overall pressure of the entire system (
Check the manual).
It is important to be careful when turning the valve.
Get an oldrag ready to protect your hands and possibly a bowl in case you don\'t want the extra drops on the floor.
First, turn off the heating, or you can import more air into the system.
Put the gas release key in the gas release valve and turn it carefully
Only a little bit clockwise, usually only one quarter or half.
The air hisses.
When the water starts to run out, all the air is cleared and you can gently return the vent valve to its previous position.
Be careful not to tighten too much.
You should then remember to turn the heating back on and check that there is no leakage from the radiator valve.
If the central heating system is a sealing system, please consult the System Manual to check the pressure and replenish it if necessary.
If the radiator doesn\'t seem to improve yet, there may be another problem.
Professional radiator inspectors can detect other source of problems for you and your heating system.
