The pneumatic diaphragm pump has four materials: engineering plastics, aluminum alloy, stainless steel and alloy. Pneumatic diaphragm pumps use nitrile rubber, neoprene, fluororubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, and polytetraethylene ethylene according to different liquid media to meet the needs of different users. It is placed in various special occasions and used to pump various media that can not be pumped by conventional pumps, and has achieved satisfactory results.
◈ Orient the pump so one of the fluid covers faces up, use a 10 mm socket wrench to remove the fluid cover screws , then pull the fluid cover up off the pump, turn the pump over and remove the other fluid cover.
◈Plastic Pumps: Use a 1-1/4 socket or box end wrench on the hex of a fluid side diaphragm plate to remove, then remove all parts of the diaphragm assembly.
◈ Metal Pumps: Remove the bolt from one side of the diaphragm shaft, then remove all parts of that diaphragm assembly.
◈ Follow the same procedure to disassemble the other diaphragm assembly.
◈Do not remove undamaged bearings.
◈Use an o-ring pick to remove the u-cup packings from the center housing, bearings can remain in place.
◈If necessary, use a socket wrench to remove the pilot valves or pilot inserts.
◈Remove the pilot valve cartridges only if necessary due to a known or suspected problem, after removing pilot valves, use a hex to remove the cartridges , then remove cartridge o-rings . If stripped, use two screwdrivers to screw out the cartridge.
◈Do not remove undamaged pilot valve cartridges.
